This November, City of Denver voters will have the opportunity to support public investment in infrastructure through the Our Denver Bonds measures 2A–2G. These measures are a plan to fix city infrastructure in every neighborhood.

Keeps Denver a Great Place to Live

The bond vote is the culmination of a yearlong application and public-input process. Approving bond funding for the more than 400+ projects selected during this process will help Denver continue to be a great place to live. The projects range from repairs and improvements to bridges, roads, and sidewalks, to preservation of and upgrades to the region’s cultural gems, including the DAM.

Improves the North Building

The proposed $937 million package includes $35.5 million for critical infrastructure improvements to the Denver Art Museum’s North Building. Bond dollars will update HVAC, improve safety standards, upgrade electrical and technology infrastructure, and more. With the passage of 2B, the DAM will match public dollars it receives 3-to-1 with funds it has privately raised for this incredible project.

Unifies the DAM's Campus

Overall, the North Building project will, for the first time, unify the museum’s campus and align with the Hamilton Building’s 21st-century systems and art experiences, including expanded resources for youth and school groups, additional gallery space and improved visitor circulation. Key project elements include bringing the museum’s renowned educational programs to the center of the campus, expanding gallery spaces for growing collections, including design and western American art, completing architect Gio Ponti’s original vision for visitor access to stunning 7th-floor views, exterior site improvements, a new welcome center, and updating key systems to current-generation technology.

Supports Updates to Denver Cultural Facilities

Please consider supporting bond measures 2A–2G when you receive your Denver ballot. Voting in favor of measure 2B directly supports the DAM’s North Building project and critical updates to the city’s other cultural facilities.
